Govt. Ayurveda research centre mysore is one of the pioneer institute established by Govt. Of Karnataka in 2017 at Mysore. It is the only institute for research in Ayurveda established by state government for the development of Ayurveda in the field of research and to update the skills in Ayurveda and dessiminate such a skills to the stake holders in a systematic ,scientific and sustainable way.

The current activity of the institute includes capacity building, formulation of projects, assisting the stake holders to develop projects, assisting the post graduate scholars in their dissertations and synopsis in various workshops, assisting the State Government to develop scientific protocols and also involving in development of BCC and IEC strategies for community health and public health.
Many innovative programs are also conducted for occasions like National Ayurveda day, International Yoga day and programs oriented towards public health.
Many workshops and seminars, online guest lectures series are also arranged from the centre as a part of skill development programs and dessiminate systematic scientific knowledge to the Ayurveda community.
