VISION

  • Betterment of Health

  • Imparting indigenous, traditional, classical health care techniques of Swasthavritta to Undergraduates and Postgraduates

  • Bestowing contemporary knowledge of Communicable and Non-Communicable diseases, Nutritional, Environmental, Community based health care techniques.

  • Awareness and implementation of various National Health Programs

 

MISSION

  • Promotion of health through Dinacharya (Daily regimen) and Ritucharya (Seasonal regimen).

  • Educating people about food and activities in health and diseases

  • Imparting the knowledge about Sadvritta (Psychosocial health) and Yoga

  • Revitalizing the body through bio-purification (seasonal cleansing therapies) and Rasayana (rejuvenation)

  • Applying the levels of Prevention techniques in the progression of various diseases

  • Community based healthcare training

  • Applying various IEC (Information, Education, Communication) methods in Mass communication

 

FACILITIES PROVIDED

  • Prakriti assessment

  • Life style modification through Dinacharya, Ritucharya

  • Diet for OPD and IPD Patients

  • Yoga for healthy and ill

  • Community based awareness camps and programs

 

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

  • Department of Postgraduate studies in Swasthavritta was started in the year 2018 with admission capacity of 5 students
